bbs was asked to accompany Germanys federal president, Joachim Gauck and Daniela Schadt, on his last official journey visiting Japan.On behalf of Germanys first national- TV, ARD Hauptstadtstudio, we featured his journey traveling from Tokyo, Kyoto and ending it in Nagasaki yesterday night.
Some of the highlights of this visit where: meeting wit Japans prime minister, Shinzo Abe. The visiting of the Emperor Akihito and the empress Michiko at his palace. Meeting Tokyos governant Yuriko Koike. meeting Japans crownprince Naruhito at the Akasaka Palace.
Then we travelled to Kyoto with the Shinkansen Train, where at evening Mr Gauck and Frau Schadt where visiting the Ginkakuji Temple to take part of a Macha -tee ceremony done by abot Raitei Arima. Next day Daniela Schadt took a tour in Kyotos 400 years old Villa Katsura, a garden which you normally heave to reserve one year bevore, the tour was given by its general director Mr. Hidehiko Itaya.
Our material was filmed on Sony´s PXW FS5 in compbination with a DJI Osmo-pro Gimbel and will be part of the 45 minutes documentary by Robin Lauterbach to be broadcasted on Jan. 10th 2017 at the ARD.
